How To Uninstall nano-tiny On Debian 8

To uninstall nano-tiny just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nano-tiny

linuxsmall, friendly text editor inspired by Pico - tiny buildeditors2.2.6-3
sudo apt-get remove nano-tiny

This will remove just the nano-tiny package itself.

Uninstall nano-tiny and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nano-tiny

This will remove the nano-tiny package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nano-tiny then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nano-tiny

Or similarly, like this nano-tiny

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nano-tiny
