How To Uninstall nap On Debian 8

To uninstall nap just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nap

linuxnapster console clientnet1.5.4-7.1
sudo apt-get remove nap

This will remove just the nap package itself.

Uninstall nap and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nap

This will remove the nap package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nap then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nap

Or similarly, like this nap

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nap
