How To Uninstall nautic On Debian 8

To uninstall nautic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nautic

linuxcomputation of observer position in astro-navigationscience1.5-1.1
sudo apt-get remove nautic

This will remove just the nautic package itself.

Uninstall nautic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nautic

This will remove the nautic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nautic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nautic

Or similarly, like this nautic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nautic
