How To Uninstall ncmpc-lyrics On Debian 8

To uninstall ncmpc-lyrics just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ncmpc-lyrics

linuxncurses-based audio player (lyrics plugins)sound0.24-1
sudo apt-get remove ncmpc-lyrics

This will remove just the ncmpc-lyrics package itself.

Uninstall ncmpc-lyrics and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ncmpc-lyrics

This will remove the ncmpc-lyrics package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ncmpc-lyrics then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ncmpc-lyrics

Or similarly, like this ncmpc-lyrics

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ncmpc-lyrics
