How To Uninstall ncurses-bin On Debian 8

To uninstall ncurses-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ncurses-bin

linuxterminal-related programs and man pagesutils5.9+20140913-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove ncurses-bin

This will remove just the ncurses-bin package itself.

Uninstall ncurses-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ncurses-bin

This will remove the ncurses-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ncurses-bin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ncurses-bin

Or similarly, like this ncurses-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ncurses-bin
