How To Uninstall ndoutils-nagios3-mysql On Debian 8

To uninstall ndoutils-nagios3-mysql just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ndoutils-nagios3-mysql

linuxThis provides the NDOUtils for Nagios with MySQL supportnet1.4b9-1.1+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove ndoutils-nagios3-mysql

This will remove just the ndoutils-nagios3-mysql package itself.

Uninstall ndoutils-nagios3-mysql and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ndoutils-nagios3-mysql

This will remove the ndoutils-nagios3-mysql package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ndoutils-nagios3-mysql then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ndoutils-nagios3-mysql

Or similarly, like this ndoutils-nagios3-mysql

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ndoutils-nagios3-mysql
