How To Uninstall ndtpd On Debian 8

To uninstall ndtpd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ndtpd

linuxthe Network Dictionary Transfer Protocol servertext1:1.0.dfsg.1-4.3
sudo apt-get remove ndtpd

This will remove just the ndtpd package itself.

Uninstall ndtpd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ndtpd

This will remove the ndtpd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ndtpd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ndtpd

Or similarly, like this ndtpd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ndtpd
