How To Uninstall netbase On Debian 8

To uninstall netbase just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just netbase

linuxBasic TCP/IP networking systemadmin5.3
sudo apt-get remove netbase

This will remove just the netbase package itself.

Uninstall netbase and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netbase

This will remove the netbase package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for netbase then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge netbase

Or similarly, like this netbase

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netbase
