How To Uninstall netmrg On Debian 8

To uninstall netmrg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just netmrg

linuxnetwork monitoring toolnet0.20-7
sudo apt-get remove netmrg

This will remove just the netmrg package itself.

Uninstall netmrg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netmrg

This will remove the netmrg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for netmrg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge netmrg

Or similarly, like this netmrg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netmrg
