How To Uninstall netperfmeter On Debian 8

To uninstall netperfmeter just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just netperfmeter

linuxNetwork Performance Meternet1.2.3-1
sudo apt-get remove netperfmeter

This will remove just the netperfmeter package itself.

Uninstall netperfmeter and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netperfmeter

This will remove the netperfmeter package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for netperfmeter then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge netperfmeter

Or similarly, like this netperfmeter

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netperfmeter
