How To Uninstall netpipe-openmpi On Debian 8

To uninstall netpipe-openmpi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just netpipe-openmpi

linuxNetwork performance tool using OpenMPInet3.7.2-7+b2
sudo apt-get remove netpipe-openmpi

This will remove just the netpipe-openmpi package itself.

Uninstall netpipe-openmpi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netpipe-openmpi

This will remove the netpipe-openmpi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for netpipe-openmpi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge netpipe-openmpi

Or similarly, like this netpipe-openmpi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netpipe-openmpi
