How To Uninstall netsurf-common On Debian 8

To uninstall netsurf-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just netsurf-common

linuxsmall web browser with CSS support common filesweb3.2+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove netsurf-common

This will remove just the netsurf-common package itself.

Uninstall netsurf-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netsurf-common

This will remove the netsurf-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for netsurf-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge netsurf-common

Or similarly, like this netsurf-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netsurf-common
