How To Uninstall netsurf On Debian 8

To uninstall netsurf just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just netsurf

linuxsmall web browser with CSS support - transitional packageweb3.2+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove netsurf

This will remove just the netsurf package itself.

Uninstall netsurf and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netsurf

This will remove the netsurf package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for netsurf then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge netsurf

Or similarly, like this netsurf

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netsurf
