How To Uninstall network-config On Debian 8

To uninstall network-config just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just network-config

linuxSimple network configuration toolutils0.2-1
sudo apt-get remove network-config

This will remove just the network-config package itself.

Uninstall network-config and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove network-config

This will remove the network-config package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for network-config then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge network-config

Or similarly, like this network-config

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove network-config
