How To Uninstall network-manager-openvpn-gnome On Debian 8

To uninstall network-manager-openvpn-gnome just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just network-manager-openvpn-gnome

linuxnetwork management framework (OpenVPN plugin GNOME GUI)net0.9.10.0-1
sudo apt-get remove network-manager-openvpn-gnome

This will remove just the network-manager-openvpn-gnome package itself.

Uninstall network-manager-openvpn-gnome and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove network-manager-openvpn-gnome

This will remove the network-manager-openvpn-gnome package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for network-manager-openvpn-gnome then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge network-manager-openvpn-gnome

Or similarly, like this network-manager-openvpn-gnome

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove network-manager-openvpn-gnome
