How To Uninstall newpid On Debian 8

To uninstall newpid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just newpid

linuxrun a command in a new PID namespaceutils4
sudo apt-get remove newpid

This will remove just the newpid package itself.

Uninstall newpid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove newpid

This will remove the newpid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for newpid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge newpid

Or similarly, like this newpid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove newpid
