How To Uninstall nfct On Debian 8

To uninstall nfct just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nfct

linuxTool to interact with the connection tracking systemnet1:1.4.2-2+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove nfct

This will remove just the nfct package itself.

Uninstall nfct and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nfct

This will remove the nfct package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nfct then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nfct

Or similarly, like this nfct

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nfct
