How To Uninstall nginx-full-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall nginx-full-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nginx-full-dbg

linuxnginx web/proxy server (standard version) - debugging symbolsdebug1.6.2-5+deb8u4
sudo apt-get remove nginx-full-dbg

This will remove just the nginx-full-dbg package itself.

Uninstall nginx-full-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nginx-full-dbg

This will remove the nginx-full-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nginx-full-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nginx-full-dbg

Or similarly, like this nginx-full-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nginx-full-dbg
