How To Uninstall nicstat On Debian 8

To uninstall nicstat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nicstat

linuxprint network traffic statisticsnet1.95-1
sudo apt-get remove nicstat

This will remove just the nicstat package itself.

Uninstall nicstat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nicstat

This will remove the nicstat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nicstat then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nicstat

Or similarly, like this nicstat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nicstat
