How To Uninstall nilfs-tools-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall nilfs-tools-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nilfs-tools-dbg

linuxContinuous Snapshotting Log-structured Filesystem (debug)debug2.2.1-1
sudo apt-get remove nilfs-tools-dbg

This will remove just the nilfs-tools-dbg package itself.

Uninstall nilfs-tools-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nilfs-tools-dbg

This will remove the nilfs-tools-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nilfs-tools-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nilfs-tools-dbg

Or similarly, like this nilfs-tools-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nilfs-tools-dbg
