How To Uninstall ninja On Debian 8

To uninstall ninja just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ninja

Privilege escalation detection system for GNU/LinuxDebian 8.0admin0.1.3-2
sudo apt-get remove ninja

This will remove just the ninja package itself.

Uninstall ninja and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ninja

This will remove the ninja package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ninja then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ninja

Or similarly, like this ninja

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ninja
