How To Uninstall njplot On Debian 8

To uninstall njplot just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just njplot

linuxphylogenetic tree drawing programscience2.4-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove njplot

This will remove just the njplot package itself.

Uninstall njplot and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove njplot

This will remove the njplot package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for njplot then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge njplot

Or similarly, like this njplot

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove njplot
