How To Uninstall node-amdefine On Debian 8

To uninstall node-amdefine just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-amdefine

linuxAsynchronous Module Definition (AMD) for Node.jsweb0.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove node-amdefine

This will remove just the node-amdefine package itself.

Uninstall node-amdefine and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-amdefine

This will remove the node-amdefine package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-amdefine then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-amdefine

Or similarly, like this node-amdefine

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-amdefine
