How To Uninstall node-backbone-dirty On Debian 8

To uninstall node-backbone-dirty just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-backbone-dirty

linuxserver-side overrides for Backbone to use node-dirtyweb1.1.2-3
sudo apt-get remove node-backbone-dirty

This will remove just the node-backbone-dirty package itself.

Uninstall node-backbone-dirty and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-backbone-dirty

This will remove the node-backbone-dirty package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-backbone-dirty then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-backbone-dirty

Or similarly, like this node-backbone-dirty

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-backbone-dirty
