How To Uninstall node-character-parser On Debian 8

To uninstall node-character-parser just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-character-parser

linuxJavaScript parser character by characterweb1.2.1-1
sudo apt-get remove node-character-parser

This will remove just the node-character-parser package itself.

Uninstall node-character-parser and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-character-parser

This will remove the node-character-parser package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-character-parser then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-character-parser

Or similarly, like this node-character-parser

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-character-parser
