How To Uninstall node-cli On Debian 8

To uninstall node-cli just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-cli

linuxtool for rapidly building command-line Node appsweb0.4.4~20120516-1
sudo apt-get remove node-cli

This will remove just the node-cli package itself.

Uninstall node-cli and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-cli

This will remove the node-cli package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-cli then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-cli

Or similarly, like this node-cli

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-cli
