How To Uninstall node-faye-websocket On Debian 8

To uninstall node-faye-websocket just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-faye-websocket

linuxstandards-compliant WebSocket library for Node.jsweb0.7.2-1
sudo apt-get remove node-faye-websocket

This will remove just the node-faye-websocket package itself.

Uninstall node-faye-websocket and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-faye-websocket

This will remove the node-faye-websocket package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-faye-websocket then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-faye-websocket

Or similarly, like this node-faye-websocket

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-faye-websocket
