How To Uninstall node-generic-pool On Debian 8

To uninstall node-generic-pool just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-generic-pool

linuxgeneric resource pooling for Node.jsweb2.0.3-1
sudo apt-get remove node-generic-pool

This will remove just the node-generic-pool package itself.

Uninstall node-generic-pool and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-generic-pool

This will remove the node-generic-pool package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-generic-pool then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-generic-pool

Or similarly, like this node-generic-pool

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-generic-pool
