How To Uninstall node-mime On Debian 8

To uninstall node-mime just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-mime

linuxlibrary for mime-type mapping for Node.jsweb1.2.11-1
sudo apt-get remove node-mime

This will remove just the node-mime package itself.

Uninstall node-mime and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-mime

This will remove the node-mime package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-mime then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-mime

Or similarly, like this node-mime

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-mime
