How To Uninstall node-monocle On Debian 8

To uninstall node-monocle just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-monocle

linuxWatch directories for file changes - Node.js moduleweb1.1.51+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove node-monocle

This will remove just the node-monocle package itself.

Uninstall node-monocle and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-monocle

This will remove the node-monocle package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-monocle then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-monocle

Or similarly, like this node-monocle

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-monocle
