How To Uninstall node-node-redis On Debian 8

To uninstall node-node-redis just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-node-redis

linuxRedis client implementation for Node.jsweb0.1.7-1
sudo apt-get remove node-node-redis

This will remove just the node-node-redis package itself.

Uninstall node-node-redis and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-node-redis

This will remove the node-node-redis package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-node-redis then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-node-redis

Or similarly, like this node-node-redis

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-node-redis
