How To Uninstall node-normalize-package-data On Debian 8

To uninstall node-normalize-package-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-normalize-package-data

linuxNormalizes package metadata - Node.js moduleweb0.2.2-1
sudo apt-get remove node-normalize-package-data

This will remove just the node-normalize-package-data package itself.

Uninstall node-normalize-package-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-normalize-package-data

This will remove the node-normalize-package-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-normalize-package-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-normalize-package-data

Or similarly, like this node-normalize-package-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-normalize-package-data
