How To Uninstall node-ws On Debian 8

To uninstall node-ws just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node-ws

linuxRFC-6455 WebSocket implementation module for Node.jsweb0.4.32-1
sudo apt-get remove node-ws

This will remove just the node-ws package itself.

Uninstall node-ws and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node-ws

This will remove the node-ws package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node-ws then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node-ws

Or similarly, like this node-ws

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node-ws
