How To Uninstall node On Debian 8

To uninstall node just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just node

linuxAmateur Packet Radio Node program (transitional package)hamradio0.3.2-7.4
sudo apt-get remove node

This will remove just the node package itself.

Uninstall node and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove node

This will remove the node package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for node then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge node

Or similarly, like this node

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove node
