How To Uninstall pamusb-tools On Debian 8

To uninstall pamusb-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pamusb-tools

dummy transitional package for pamusb-commonDebian 8.0oldlibs0.5.0-4
sudo apt-get remove pamusb-tools

This will remove just the pamusb-tools package itself.

Uninstall pamusb-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pamusb-tools

This will remove the pamusb-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pamusb-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pamusb-tools

Or similarly, like this pamusb-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pamusb-tools
