How To Uninstall pandoc-citeproc On Debian 8

To uninstall pandoc-citeproc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pandoc-citeproc

Pandoc support for Citation Style Language - toolsDebian 8.0haskell0.4.0.1-1
sudo apt-get remove pandoc-citeproc

This will remove just the pandoc-citeproc package itself.

Uninstall pandoc-citeproc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pandoc-citeproc

This will remove the pandoc-citeproc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pandoc-citeproc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pandoc-citeproc

Or similarly, like this pandoc-citeproc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pandoc-citeproc
