How To Uninstall php-assetic On Debian 8

To uninstall php-assetic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just php-assetic

Asset Management for PHPDebian 8.0php1.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove php-assetic

This will remove just the php-assetic package itself.

Uninstall php-assetic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove php-assetic

This will remove the php-assetic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for php-assetic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge php-assetic

Or similarly, like this php-assetic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove php-assetic
