How To Uninstall php-doctrine-orm On Debian 8

To uninstall php-doctrine-orm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just php-doctrine-orm

tool for object-relational mappingDebian 8.0php2.4.6-1+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove php-doctrine-orm

This will remove just the php-doctrine-orm package itself.

Uninstall php-doctrine-orm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove php-doctrine-orm

This will remove the php-doctrine-orm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for php-doctrine-orm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge php-doctrine-orm

Or similarly, like this php-doctrine-orm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove php-doctrine-orm
