How To Uninstall php5-exactimage On Debian 8

To uninstall php5-exactimage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just php5-exactimage

fast image manipulation library (PHP bindings)Debian 8.0php0.8.9-7+deb8u2
sudo apt-get remove php5-exactimage

This will remove just the php5-exactimage package itself.

Uninstall php5-exactimage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove php5-exactimage

This will remove the php5-exactimage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for php5-exactimage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge php5-exactimage

Or similarly, like this php5-exactimage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove php5-exactimage
