How To Uninstall php5-lasso On Debian 8

To uninstall php5-lasso just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just php5-lasso

Library for Liberty Alliance and SAML protocols - PHP 5 bindingsDebian 8.0php2.4.1-1
sudo apt-get remove php5-lasso

This will remove just the php5-lasso package itself.

Uninstall php5-lasso and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove php5-lasso

This will remove the php5-lasso package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for php5-lasso then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge php5-lasso

Or similarly, like this php5-lasso

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove php5-lasso
