How To Uninstall php5-vtkgdcm On Debian 8

To uninstall php5-vtkgdcm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just php5-vtkgdcm

Grassroots DICOM VTK PHP bindingsDebian 8.0php2.4.4-3+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove php5-vtkgdcm

This will remove just the php5-vtkgdcm package itself.

Uninstall php5-vtkgdcm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove php5-vtkgdcm

This will remove the php5-vtkgdcm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for php5-vtkgdcm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge php5-vtkgdcm

Or similarly, like this php5-vtkgdcm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove php5-vtkgdcm
