How To Uninstall pppdcapiplugin On Debian 8

To uninstall pppdcapiplugin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pppdcapiplugin

ISDN utilities - pppd plug-in for CAPI supportDebian 8.0net1:3.25+dfsg1-3.5
sudo apt-get remove pppdcapiplugin

This will remove just the pppdcapiplugin package itself.

Uninstall pppdcapiplugin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pppdcapiplugin

This will remove the pppdcapiplugin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pppdcapiplugin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pppdcapiplugin

Or similarly, like this pppdcapiplugin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pppdcapiplugin
