How To Uninstall pst-utils On Debian 8

To uninstall pst-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pst-utils

tools for reading Microsoft Outlook PST filesDebian 8.0utils0.6.59-1
sudo apt-get remove pst-utils

This will remove just the pst-utils package itself.

Uninstall pst-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pst-utils

This will remove the pst-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pst-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pst-utils

Or similarly, like this pst-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pst-utils
