How To Uninstall python-anyjson On Debian 8

To uninstall python-anyjson just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-anyjson

Common interface for the best available JSON implementationDebian 8.0python0.3.3-1
sudo apt-get remove python-anyjson

This will remove just the python-anyjson package itself.

Uninstall python-anyjson and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-anyjson

This will remove the python-anyjson package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-anyjson then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-anyjson

Or similarly, like this python-anyjson

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-anyjson
