How To Uninstall python-aptdaemon On Debian 8

To uninstall python-aptdaemon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-aptdaemon

Python 2 modules for the server and client of aptdaemonDebian 8.0python1.1.1-4+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove python-aptdaemon

This will remove just the python-aptdaemon package itself.

Uninstall python-aptdaemon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-aptdaemon

This will remove the python-aptdaemon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-aptdaemon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-aptdaemon

Or similarly, like this python-aptdaemon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-aptdaemon
