How To Uninstall python-bzrlib-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall python-bzrlib-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-bzrlib-dbg

distributed version control system - debug extensionDebian 8.0debug2.6.0+bzr6595-6
sudo apt-get remove python-bzrlib-dbg

This will remove just the python-bzrlib-dbg package itself.

Uninstall python-bzrlib-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-bzrlib-dbg

This will remove the python-bzrlib-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-bzrlib-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-bzrlib-dbg

Or similarly, like this python-bzrlib-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-bzrlib-dbg
