How To Uninstall python-cigi On Debian 8

To uninstall python-cigi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-cigi

Python bindings for the CIGI class libraryDebian 8.0python3.3.3a+svn818-7
sudo apt-get remove python-cigi

This will remove just the python-cigi package itself.

Uninstall python-cigi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-cigi

This will remove the python-cigi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-cigi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-cigi

Or similarly, like this python-cigi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-cigi
