How To Uninstall python-dbus-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall python-dbus-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-dbus-dev

main loop integration development files for python-dbusDebian 8.0python1.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove python-dbus-dev

This will remove just the python-dbus-dev package itself.

Uninstall python-dbus-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-dbus-dev

This will remove the python-dbus-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-dbus-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-dbus-dev

Or similarly, like this python-dbus-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-dbus-dev
