How To Uninstall python-debtagshw On Debian 8

To uninstall python-debtagshw just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-debtagshw

Match debtags hardware:Debian 8.0python1.12.3
sudo apt-get remove python-debtagshw

This will remove just the python-debtagshw package itself.

Uninstall python-debtagshw and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-debtagshw

This will remove the python-debtagshw package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-debtagshw then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-debtagshw

Or similarly, like this python-debtagshw

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-debtagshw
