How To Uninstall python-dipy-lib On Debian 8

To uninstall python-dipy-lib just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-dipy-lib

toolbox for analysis of MR diffusion imaging data -- extensionsDebian 8.0python0.7.1-2
sudo apt-get remove python-dipy-lib

This will remove just the python-dipy-lib package itself.

Uninstall python-dipy-lib and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-dipy-lib

This will remove the python-dipy-lib package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-dipy-lib then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-dipy-lib

Or similarly, like this python-dipy-lib

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-dipy-lib
